TRP scam case: Republic TV CEO, COO questioned by Mumbai Police; Channel says it breach of freedom of press:

The TRP racket was disclosed after a police complaint by Hansa Research Group Pvt Ltd, an agency contracted by (BARC) Broadcast Audience Research Council , to place audience meters to monitor TV channels watched by households. 

Besides Republic TV, Box Cinema and Marathi channel Fakt Marathi have been accused of TRP manipulation during the early investigation.

By the way Republic TV has denied all the charges against them.
